I usually only use black and brown shades of eyeshadow to do my makeup, so I’ve been able to use a lot of different eyeshadow pallets and I’ve gotten by just fine. However, most of the ones I use are cheap (because they usually only come with three colors) and they usually smudge, fade, or just don’t apply that great. I’m willing to spend a little bit more money on a pallet that’s good quality, but since I don’t use very many colors, every time I want to buy a pallet I feel like I’m wasting my money.
Does anyone have any brand/pallet recommendations that won’t give me a million shades I’ll never use? I usually use elf/drugstore products
Maybe what you need is an eyeshadow primer and not necessarily a palette? It’ll help with the longevity of your eyeshadow if your main issue is it fading throughout the day.
That said, the best way to ensure you will have shadows you know you will use is to buy singles in colours you know you like.
