In addition to interrupting the design, which is something I don’t particularly care about, it also takes away from the grab and go nature of a watch. If you have a rotation of, say, 3 watches and you want to switch to a watch with a date that you wore 2 weeks ago. Time setting then becomes passing midnight to make sure you have your am/pm right, then setting the time, then switching the date. And I know it’s a nice way to interact with you watch blah blah blah but it gets old.

I routinely wear watches with a totally incorrect date when I just can’t be bothered to set it. Nobody has ever noticed.
