So I am thinking about taking a gap year of sorts and traveling across Europe, Asia, Australia, South America, etc. starting in August.
The key here is that I won’t have a permanent home so I can’t bring my sneaker collection with me. Based on what we have space for, my wife has said I can bring 3 pairs of sneakers (not counting a pair of running shoes). So essentially I need 3 pairs that will be versatile and work in all seasons, can take a bit of a beating, but still allow me to bring the heat. I also need them to be comfortable so I’m afraid any pair of 4s is eliminated.
I am thinking

I’m bringing a pair of Hokas (One One are my favorite), some version of an Ultraboost, and a NB 2002 (I spent a few weeks in the EU with navy protection pack and they were perfect). Comfort and versatility will matter more than turning heads.
