Hi, I don’t have much experience with makeup and I’m looking to learn how to apply it! Usually, the best way to learn is a bit of practice every day, but some days I just totally crash and lack the energy. Other days, I’ve got heaps of energy for learning, so I was thinking (if I have the patience and energy) it may be best to try a look, clean my face (likely just with micellar water, nothing harsh) and go again. Are there skincare concerns to look out for? If this tends to backfire, do you have ideas for how to mitigate it?

Depends on your skin and depends on your cleanser. I cleansed 3 times in one day the other day but my skin is not overly sensitive.
