And they do NOT get to dictate what you or your family can afford, and they certainly do NOT get to dictate what you wear. u/kubbiebeef and u/PigWithAWoodenLeg are both right. If you give in over shoes, what’s next? Your jacket? Your backpack? Your hairstyle?

Yeah. I remember worrying about shit like that in high school. What people thought of me or my clothes or my weight or being in whatever nerd classes. Then one day you run into one of the “cool” kids and they are basically a loser in real life, or you run into that hot girl and she’s fat, divorced and has three kids. Listen man, do you, be good at it and love yourself. At the end of the day if they aren’t family, don’t pay your bills or suck your dick they don’t matter lol.
Pretty much. Man am I glad I didn’t end up or even have a shot with one of those “hot girls” in HS. Most of them had their moment in HS and that was that.
Man I ran into the “hot girl” the other night she was the cashier at the gas station an yikes!!! Life whooped her ass she looks like shit. No joke gotta be 100lbs or so up from high school. Too anybody who sees this, high school means nothing! It almost never translates into adulthood. Focus on using that time to get ahead. Please please please, if I could go back I would an man what a different position I’d be in if it was more focused and forward thinking.
Tbh A lot of these stories are cope, life’s not fair, and some people get setup easier then other folks. The bullies with the resources, will die with the resources/networks/connections/monies. But the bullies that had nothing, will end up with nothing. Success* is so hard to achieve and there are plenty of outside factors that determine success*
