How do you personally differentiate between nude and bold lipstick? I thought I had a pretty good idea until I tried searching stuff up and found out that shades like rose are actually not considered nude. Now that really threw me off.

Are you looking at when to use each or what is considered in those color categories?
it greatly depends on your skin tone. like dark skin girl and a pale skin girl are could wear the same shade, look nude on one bold on the other. id say whatever would be a natural lip color on your skin tone
