Is it ladies size? I’m seeing similar models listed as “Vera Cruz 28b53” that sell for between 800-1000, but I would expect to get less.

The Suwa factory is never going to succeed with work like this.

Same rules as anywhere: Maintain situational awareness and don’t make yourself an easy target. It’s not a luxury watch, and if you are aware of your surroundings you’ll be fine. Cities are not inherently bad / dangerous.

Good find! 1970’s Seiko Bullhead Chronograph. Google the 8 characters on the back, but it should be 6138-0040 or something similar.

I like the watch but wish they made it in 36mm. The Explorer is great to me for being a powerful watch in an unassuming compact case.
