I collect watches. Not to impress others. But to have fun. I own fossils, citizens, seikos, and …gasp… steeldive and other Chinese watches. Take a look at the Pagani 1701. I love it, it’s my daily work beater. Watches should be fun, not burdensome. Buy whatever makes you feel awesome wearing it. So, to summarize, buy whatever makes you feel good.

I have a “decker” model. They are a decent watch, for a fashion brand. Look, if you like it - who cares about prestige? Decent product for the price.

I bought way too many “high-end” watches in the mid 2000’s that are now considered " grossly" oversized. Does anyone remember from 2005 to 2012, where a conservative watch size was 45 mm? I do. Does anybody want to buy vintage brietlings, omegas? Thier vintage!

With the lume and bezel it’s a dive watch. It’s not something on the american design side of things, or the indices would be lumed ( I realize that American watch making scene is almost nil) and the bezel is reminiscent of a vostok. I am going with a vostok. I would recognize that bezel anywhere. Am I right? And I did not cheat. That would detract from the fun.
