The TH Formula One is a good looking watch, but there’s no denying that the value for money is pretty dreadful at anywhere close to retail price (basic Ronda quartz movement).

I would be tempted to go more affordable and stick to quartz if I were you. Some cool racing inspired watches that spring to mind: Tissot Supersport, anything by Straton, Autodromo or Roue, the Zodiac Grandrally, Dan Henry 1962, Certina DS-2 Podium
