1 year agoWell, mine was always a Breguet, but I actually bought a Breguet Marine 5817, so I have it now!
If I were going to pick one now (with the assumption that a “grail” is by definition almost impossible to obtain), I’ll go with the amazing if somewhat absurd F.P. Journe Centigraphe Souveraine. I doubt I’ll ever have one of these, as the price of an F.P. Journe seems to go up like 30% every year and thus remain forever out of reach.
Sure looks like it, but the 5212A is a 40mm watch - big for a Calatrava, but small by the standards of modern men’s watches.
I think OP, like me, just has a 6" wrist.
