Fourth wheel, mainspring, yada yada. Yeah, I don’t understand all the parts either.
That’s a great deal!

Wow! When was this? How much was the service? I just had my 1994 3590.50 serviced and I was lucky to find a guy and not have to ship it to Switzerland where it would have received a lobotomy and a facelift. 😬
Coincidentally, the 1994 Speedmaster 3590.50 I’m wearing, which is actually getting dropped off with my watch guy this morning for an adjustment (it’s running -20 sec/day since getting its first service).
I bought it after doing a rabbit hole ton of reading and decided I wanted the 861 movement. Good pedigree and still very serviceable. I wanted something vintage or near vintage in my collection that I wasn’t skittish about wearing. I also wanted tritium and an original 1479/812 bracelet if I could find one, which I did. She’s a beautiful example of that reference era!
Gratuitous espresso shot included because early.
I see you,Tangerine Scream Focus ST.
Fantastic. Wear it in health. Looks like an excellent value.
This is almost an insta-buy for me.
Did you ever try on a titanium GS? I have the SBGA375 and steered clear of titanium options because I thought they would feel too light… but I love the idea of it. Never got the chance to try one, though.
The directly compete part is a bit of a head scratcher. That said, I like these pieces. Love the older Seamaster 300M.
Look at Grand Seikos. Amazing technology with some color and beautiful dial options. Some are similar in look and feel to the AT.
When I learned this after I briefly thought I’d found an alternative to the AnOrdain, I cried a little. Again.
