  • bronzer honestly not super necessary it does what it says makes you more tan and bronzed but like i really don’t feel a need for it

luminzer im assuming is highlight ? i love highlighter but ! most highlighters aren’t very suited for natural looks you have to look hard for it for me the Mango People Cosmetics highlighter sticks give me the perfect light natural makeup highlighter glow other wise i save it for more heavy and glammed up looks but i do prefer very light makeup so up to you on that what you prefer

concealer is only necessary if you have any spots to hide basically foundation will cover your whole face and smooth the colour out make it even but if you have say an acne scar or dark mark concealer will be a little more concentrated i suppose to cover that it’s typical for dark under eyes or a lot of that hyperpigmentation or a lot of scarring, acne marks etc

eye primer is good to have if you’ll be using a lot of eyeshadow but i fully recommend picking up a cheap one my sister likes the Milani eye primer but it helps with creasing (just cause it’s cheap doesn’t mean it’s not good quality also ! i have very sensitive skin and i’ve made a good mix of drugstore and expensive in my routine)

brushes im bad at recommending types but the Real Techniques brand is great i use theirs ! also recommend a beauty blender is always useful to have on hand ! (don’t recommend buying from the official brand to be honest they are quite overpriced you’ll get the same material and quality from other brands)

touching on the things you’re still looking for

primer it depends on your finish but the Elf power grip primer is my favourite (specifically with the niacinimide works better for me) it’s supposedly a dupe for the Milk Makeup Hydrogrip which is also great according to others i have yet to try myself my other recommendation that i have used is the bare minerals prime time and i also love it it’s quite nice makes my skin so soft and holds makeup great i just couldn’t always find it in stock :(

for eyeliner if you’re looking for liquid the Nyx Epic Wear liner is better than expensive brands to me i love it i don’t even know any non drugstore options because i prefer this to all of them

gel / kohl / pencil i quite like the Milani and the Almay ones ! they’re really nice for the water line that or the urban decay is quite nice or the mac fluid line gel liner does a great waterline

also i would recommend adding a setting spray it will set your makeup and make it last (i typically do it between each layer of products im putting on even it makes it last!) i like the nyx matte one but also ive heard great things about the Urban Decay all night setting spray

also someone with sensitive skin you should consider a tinted moisturizer or skin tint or tinted sunscreen type ! at least for me i find i react so much less to those because they’re much less heavy

    Hi :)
I would say your routine as is might be working well base coats i’ve never heard of with makeup so i’m unsure, contour honestly i find isn’t really necessary unless i’m going all out with my makeup but that’s just me
I would definitely recommend a primer! think of it as a base layer (although i don’t know if that’s what was meant by base layer in your post) between foundation and your skin youre making sure it’s all hydrated it gives your foundation and makeup something to stick to and and certain ones help blur out your pores
I’m not sure your complete skin type but i’ve heard the NYX marshmellow smoothing primer is good for more mature skin (although you may also have very young looking skin just thought that would be better to recommend) I’ve also heard the Elf Putty Primer is good for that
my own personal favourite is the elf power grip with niacinimide - it is very sticky giving my makeup something to stick to and it gives me a dewy look
