Lots of good suggestions here, I’ll just chime in to say that as far as color matching good, I’d actually avoid pairing as blue dial watch with a blue suit. It probably won’t be quite the same shade of blue, which means it’ll probably land in the uncanny valley of color matching. Better to just go with a different color entirely. For a dress watch, white, silver, champagne, and gold dials are the traditional choices. Depending on your skin tone, salmon dials have been popular recently too. Black dials are traditionally for sporty or tool watches, but it’s not like anyone is going to call you out on breaking tradition, and color-wise it will look fine. If you want something more colorful, I go for something warm like something based on a red, orange, it yellow. I’d stay away from most greens and purples for this suit. Brown could potentially work, depending on the watch, but it would give a definite 70s vibe to the outfit, given the color of the suit. It’s a nice looking suit, by the way!

I always thought the Nixon Atom was an elegant, possibly dressy design. Not sure if they still make 'em, but they come up on ebay from time to time.

I’ve been waiting for them to release just such a thing so I can do a mini casioak mod. As far as I know, they still haven’t. You can find mod kits, though, to replace the hour markers and hands with whatever color you want. Also, there’s these colorways that have more… restrained styling:

In fact, when you’re wearing blue is a good time to be wary of wearing a blue watch, since not all shades of blue go together, and it could look matchy matchy even if they do. Black is a solid choice if you’re not into worrying about what goes with what.

I like it. I dunno if the quality is top notch, but it should last at least a bit and it will look great and probably tell time just fine while it does.

I would recommend the 35mm quartz prx. The design is more cohesive and striking, with an the sharp angles playing together, vs the Seiko that is kind of a middle ground between a prx copy and any old watch. I’ve read that the prx (and similar watches) wears larger than you’d expect, so sizing down to the 35mm prx might actually be better than the Seiko’s 38.5. I see quartz prxs lightly used going for under 300 USD commonly, so the price should be similar to the Seiko as well.

For watches, I prefer to avoid Amazon. There are lots of fakes on Amazon. Not *everything* has a fake version of it, but LOTS of things do, even things you wouldn’t expect (like hand lotions or facemasks). Ordering from a listing that has Amazon or the manufacturer as the seller is no guarantee that it won’t be a fake because of something Amazon does called Inventory Comingling (interesting to read about, if you’re curious). If it’s sold by and shipped from the original manufacturer, you’re more likely in the clear.

Looks like a version of what’s called a flieger with a type A dial. Lots of companies make them. Some well known examples include Stowa, Laco, Aristo, Archimedes, and IWC. Lots of budget oriented companies make them now too.

I love to. Got a chunky diver that would be way too heavy for me otherwise, along with a field watch on a bracelet and a chrono on a bracelet. That light weight feeling is just the best, imo. I know some people claim ti is more scratch prone, but the styles of those watches are such that scratches on them don’t bother me.

Is there anything specific you’re looking to find out?
