I’ve had that Omega for about 4 years. I love it and it’s extremely versatile. I don’t like rectangular watches so that narrows it down for me. But I really like the ceramic case and titanium on the Omega. Just something less common. Most people have no idea it’s more expensive than a regular SMP and I like being more discrete. You can get the Omega for around $6k. I wouldn’t pay anywhere close to current retail for it.

Eco Drives are great. I’m sure you’d be happy with that watch. I would consider whether you would like an automatic watch more. Once I started buying automatic watches with sweeping hands I haven’t bought another Quartz watch since. You can find some great Seiko watches in your price range. Check some of them out and best of luck in your search.

They have a reputation for under reporting the condition. So they’re usually better than they claim. I’ve also heard the other things said about polishing.
