Who cares if it’s cringe you’re (presumably) a grown-up you can do whatever you want. It’s definitely a STATEMENT and takes some touch-ups throughout the day which is why it’s not that commonly used a color in casual settings, but if you’re fine with that, why not? If black lipstick is cringe, then I am cringe, but I am free.
If you like it, wear it. Is it more cringe to wear black lipstick or to be a sheep and avoid a thing you like because someone told you it’s cringe?

Before you eat, if you’re using a creamy lip, take a tissue and bolt by pressing your lips to it until there’s no more transfer, then reapply afterwards. For drinks, use a straw or simply accept your fate.
I like a liquid matte formulas, so there’s almost no transfer, but that’s personal taste whether you wanna have to remove your makeup with a clown face of oil.
