Can someone explain to me why some Vans Authentic shoes have a slightly taller sole and rubber upper-wrap which seems to come further up onto the canvas upper? I’m not talking about the “Platform” sneakers as those are taller than what im referring to. I’ve included a comparison image as an example. I prefer the taller sole but don’t know what search term to use to find them. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
the higher foxing tape model looks like it could be an anaheim factory/vault model. that’s a common characteristic of anaheim and vault models.
