I’ve used the hammer to remove all of the links from the band, but I’m lost on what mechanism will remove the remainder of the band from the timepiece. Also, which of these 2 tools should I be using? New to watches, sorry. (Vostok Amphibia)

You just need to compress the telescopes that are attached to the immediate sides of the watch with the tool I circled. Just compress one side, and then the other and pull to the side.
