Vans were a big thing in the 90s in U.K. and mainly for male teens.
I was surprised to find that they never went out of style in USA.
Who, would YOU say, most commonly wear vans these days?
Eg male/female teens/late twenties College students/Graduates Fraternity/sorority Skaters/fashion-conscious
Could ethnicity or sexuality come into it?
Literally whoever. It has nothing to do with ethnicity or sexuality. That said, I would guess Californians wear vans the most. The weather most consistently allows us to wear them and that’s where vans originated.
