I’m a dedicated tinted lip balm wearer and I’m foraying into the big scary pigmented world of lipstick and I just don’t understand it…How do you eat or drink without getting it everywhere? It’s all over my cups, my teeth, just a mess. I apply and do the blotting where you press your lips on a tissue until it doesn’t leave any more marks. Please give me your advice lipstick masters.

I don’t really mind leaving lipstick marking on straws/cups, etc. I prefer these lipsticks over transfer-free stains because the stains have a tendency to irritate my lips and honestly I’m kinda scared what substances are in there to make it last so long.

To me at least, I don’t think it’s a big deal to leave behind lipstick stains on my own items?

As for the teeth marks, I don’t have this problem. I suggest avoiding the inner part of your mouth when applying lipstick (e.g. use the finger method) to minimise lipstick transfer to teeth.
