I am a beauty creator and long time beauty enthusiast, before getting my social media going, I already had a decent makeup stash. Now with my PR, it’s totally overwhelming! I have things piled in boxes and makeup bags but it’s not nearly as visible or accessible as I’d like. Not to mention it looks and feels like a mess. I actually don’t have a dedicated vanity either! Not sure if you can add picture replies, but if that’s possible I’d love to see. Curious how others are organizing and storing decent sized makeup collections! TIA ♥️

Heh…I gave up on trying to organize my palettes. They have their own cabinet for the majority of them. I need to cut down but I have a hard time letting go 😂

you may enjoy r/makeuporganization! if you have a lot of palettes, using magazine/letter/dish organizers or even bookshelves with bookends might help; if you prefer tiered storage, nail polish racks might be the idea.

currently i use these special acrylic organizers - i despise digging in bags and drawers and am a very out-of-sight-out-of-mind person, so i like having every single product easily visible, accessible, displayed, yet organized and compact! i keep my brushes and pencil items in cups, and my sponges in a tiny trolley for drying. long ago, i did use recycled mooncake boxes as well.

i do intend to change things up a bit again soon though, as my collection has changed quite a bit since these photos.

I use an IKEA drawer set (the “ALEX”). Each drawer has its own designated section of the face (Eyes, Lips, Base Products, etc.) I then organize each into a clear freezer bag inside by color/type/etc.

I also have a large plastic makeup case where I store my currently used products. I got mine from BEIS.
