you may enjoy r/makeuporganization! if you have a lot of palettes, using magazine/letter/dish organizers or even bookshelves with bookends might help; if you prefer tiered storage, nail polish racks might be the idea.
currently i use these special acrylic organizers - i despise digging in bags and drawers and am a very out-of-sight-out-of-mind person, so i like having every single product easily visible, accessible, displayed, yet organized and compact! i keep my brushes and pencil items in cups, and my sponges in a tiny trolley for drying. long ago, i did use recycled mooncake boxes as well.
i do intend to change things up a bit again soon though, as my collection has changed quite a bit since these photos.
