Fashion influencers nowadays market the Sambas as an undiscovered gem and that gained traction. I appreciate that it’s the Samba silhouette (rather than the CW) that’s becoming popular, which gives us nice CWs and collabs
If they want to market an “undiscovered gem”, they should bring back the Spezials and ZX series. Have Matt Welty be an ambassador for those two models as well, he loves those shoes.
Ah, the ‘ol undiscovered gem of a shoe that’s been around for 74yrs and is Adidas’s second best-selling shoe of all time. lol Hell, I still have the pair I bought in ‘96. Not criticising your term. I just find the concept of that marketing absurdly humorous.

They’ve been rolling out the Spezials again lately actually, multiple colorways and all

Agreed, everyone had sambas in the 90s
Whats #1?
Yep. I’m like Sambas? I’m old enough to have seen these recycled 5-6 times.
They’ve never been recycled, adidas have never stopped making them
I should have clarified, them being “on trend” but yes you are spot on.
I have three that sold to pay for my house.
