  • I have. Had no issues with any purchases. That being said, in most cases, active user/customer base is a fraction of total user/customer. It costs nothing to register an account. Transactions still cost money.
For example, I have an Amazon Wishlist. I’ve bought maybe one thing on it in the decade plus I’ve had my account. 99% of the time I use it to earmark things I can come back to look at later. I don’t necessarily have any inherent interest in purchasing what I put on it.

  • I’ve never given a shit about what anyone thinks of the shoes I buy. I buy what I like. I wear what I like. What anyone else thinks is entirely inconsequential. I may ask what people’s thoughts are on occasion out of curiosity or if I’m on the fence just to get another perspective but ultimately it has no bearing.

  • You’re unlikely to find the same or similarly close colourway that’s in production but checkout brands like Simpson, OMP, Alpinestars, Racequip, Stand21, Sparco, Zamp, K1 Racegear, Momo, and Bell. They have different levels of shoes that are at different price points based on safety rating. Maybe you can find a colourway that she’d like.
Most will make custom since that’s what they do for Motorsport teams. I know OMP and Stand21 do it for sure, but just be aware that we’re talking about custom SFI/FIA-rated racing shoes and that costs considerably.

Ah, the ‘ol undiscovered gem of a shoe that’s been around for 74yrs and is Adidas’s second best-selling shoe of all time. lol Hell, I still have the pair I bought in ‘96. Not criticising your term. I just find the concept of that marketing absurdly humorous.
