I’m pretty good at makeup overall I would say, I always get compliments, but the one thing I can’t do is strip lashes. I’ve successfully put them on before but it’s a lot of struggle and usually irritates my eyes pretty badly. When I wear makeup I usually do very dark, extremely bold eye looks, and I think lashes would really add to a lot of them if I only had some that worked. Does anyone have any recommendations of brands or tips for putting them on? Or even like gadgets that make it easier? Or glue recommendations

    Velour just came out with a “glue & go” pen which basically allows you to apply lash glue like eyeliner rather than applying the glue to the lash band and trying to aim.

    I definitely understand the eye irritation. Even when I apply lashes perfectly, my eyes do water up a bit after application and then at the end of the day when I’ve had them on for too long.

    I find that applying a thin layer of glue rather than a thick layer helps minimize the irritation.
