Mine have to be Tarte and Elf

Tarte just didn’t work out for me I used to love Elf, but recently it’s just not been that great.

I wanted to LOVE Fenty foundation, but had to return to Sephora bc the silicone broke me out. I love her glosses, tho!

I love the fenty foundation. I bought it about 2 months ago, but I doubt I would’ve liked it on my skin before I hit perimenopause. My skin had changed so much and fenty has been one of the few kind that doesn’t look cakey on my skin. It’s such a pain having to basically relearning my body.

The matte foundation is my holy grail! I have really picky skin though, maybe Fenty is just good for very specific types lol

Literally every product I’ve ever tried from fenty HAS BROKEN ME OUT. I’ve had to send back like $200 worth of stuff cuz my face broke out in a rash. The only thing I could keep was a lip gloss

Also idk if anyone else feels like this but Fenty lip products just look sort of… tacky??? Idk how to describe it. The dull colours paired with glittery lustre just looks ghetto. Atleast around here where I live, it’s considered hella ghetto. Idk tho I don’t live in America.

All those Foundation Shades and no one thought, “Hey maybe some of these clients will be allergic to perfume?” Hi, Fenty it does me no good to finally find my perfect shade if you have added Fragrance to it!! Why taunt me?!

Nothing I’ve gotten from Fenty has been outstanding, okay, usable, but I was more excited to finish them and buy something else than I was to use them.

The lip paint is legit in terms of staying power but a CHALLENGE in terms of precision and application! I usually make a mess. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Yes their quality has really gone downhill. I recently tried their eyeshadow sticks and couldn’t believe how bad it was.

I love the range but nothing about their foundation really stood out to me. It performed like any “meh” drugstore foundation might which is fine, but nothing blew me away.

I literally cleared out everythjng of theirs Ive tried…

Hydrating Foundation - looked like grease paint on me

The mattmoiselle lipstick - SO drying and broke in half the first time I used it.

Diamonds Highlighter - its a nice toper, but tbh highlight isnt my jam

Sheer shiny lipstick - not terrible, but it never stayed in place for me.

Sheer concealer - probably the best for me, it was okay, but not my favourite for the price so wont repurchase.

Fenty is such a meh brand to me. Most things I’ve felt neutral to negative about. The loose powder is nice enough but no better than anyone else’s honestly. I have enjoyed the highlighters but I feel like it’s hard to fuck up a highlighter.

The eaze drop foundation takes work to look decent but does look dry by the end of the day.

I also fell into the whole ‘the gloss bomb is the best gloss ever’ hype when the brand was new and found that actually, it was still sticky, didn’t last long and had an awful taste and smell.

I really wanted to like Fenty but all the products have been lacklustre. The Eaze Drop foundation oxidised SO badly and made my oily skin dry and scaly. I liked the contour in Amber because it was the only cool-toned contour I could previously find on the market but it’s ridiculously hard to blend and looks patchy af, clings to any bit of previously invisible dry skin that might be on your face; the ELF putty bronzer in Feelin’ Shady and various Korean powder contours have all outperformed Fenty in my experience. All for a much lower price point. The lip products are okay I guess. They work, they’re nice, but I’m not awestruck and none of them are in my regular makeup bag.

I also love the amber matchstix and her inda sun bronzer. I’ve tried kbeauty contours and amber lasts way longer on the skin and don’t hardpan like TooCoolForSchool. The packaging on canmake also breaks easily. Peripera is dusty and don’t lasts at all.

Amber isn’t patchy and stays on all day and is the perfect tone.

I feel like I only buy Fenty for the packaging at this point. I like the lipglosses and how glittery they are but they are NOT moisturizing like they claim. At ALL. I still use the contour stick but mostly because I haven’t run out yet

I do not have sensitive skin—like I can put rubbing alcohol on my face with no consequences. I’ve NEVER reacted to makeup poorly, even the cheapest of cheap stuff. Fenty matchsticks gave me a blistering rash every time I tried to use them. I cannot imagine what is in those products.

the only thing i really love from them is the original gloss bomb, really gorgeous color and comfortable formula
