Having been in marketing my whole life, you have definitely been lied to by a brand.
How so? I understand that brands lie…greenwashing, cruelty-free claims, etc…but I’ve personally never bought a makeup product and thought, “man…this doesn’t do what they said it would”.
I also get a bit obsessive and read/watch lots of reviews about a product I’m going to buy. Especially when it’s an expensive product.
