Well that’s to hold the stick otherwise it’d fall out. You can get the extra product out with a lipstick brush or a cuticle stick. Just consider it bonus product, thats what I do! I twist open my empty foundation bottles, break open powder tubs… I make sure I get allll my money’s worth 🤣

I feel this a bit with her powder foundation. It looks great on but it is messy and is constantly breaking in the compact. Shit gets everywhere.
