I’m looking for an eyeshadow palette that has brown tones which are truly neutral. Not leaning red and orange nor leaning purple and grey. Just true browns in varying degrees of intensity. And i would love for it to have special shimmer shades (that are still neutral) Maybe a multichrome, a sparkly topper, glitter shadows etc

Palettes I have considered:

  • Huda Beauty rose quartz, (the concept is exactly what I want in terms of mattes and shimmers but its far too pink and warm)

*Lorac Noir (i dont think the shimmers are quite so special, and it seems like a difficult palette to get hold of in the UK)

*Natasha Denona i need a nude (as soon as i saw it, i thought this was the one. But it leans far too cool and ashy on my skin)

Is there a palette out there which fits all my requirements or should I just build my own palette?

    Love Lorac. They had the best palette years ago called the Croc palette. Phenomenal and just enough colors to throw in a bag and go from day to nights. Check out the Morphe 9T neutrals palette. Think it’s on sale rn at Ulta for less than $10 and there are some shimmers.

    I’m in the same dilemma as you. In fact I even bought the Rose quartz ( haven’t received it yet) and even the lorac noir( I like it but I don’t love it). ND I need a nude also runs too ashy on me. I’m thinking of checking out the Mario etheral eyes or ND glam palette. I really need to go somewhere to swatch these palettes.

          No problem. It’s super frustrating when the swatch pics look so neutral and then irl it’s completely different. While I like ND formulas, I was disappointed in the colors of the glam palette as a whole. A truly neutral palette seems to be a unicorn.

    If you are okay with quads maybe can consider Burberry complete eye palette #mocha? It is a matte to slight shimmer combination and are the most neutral colors I have ever seen

      It is tonally exactly what I’m looking for, but I’d like something with more variety than a quad, also the price point makes me gag a little 😬 thank you for the suggestion though.
