I have never gotten into wearing lip products (or really anything on my lips aside from regular Burt’s bees chapstick). I don’t know why but I just feel so uncomfortable and garish whenever I have any lip stuff on….I think maybe part of it is a texture thing for me? Like, glosses are super sticky and don’t stay on, matte or long lasting lipsticks crack and dry my lips out….I wear a full face everyday but just can’t take the plunge on committing to lip stuff. If I put it on, I wipe it off within 10 minutes.

What do other people consider a daily essential that you just can’t abide? Why do you think that is?

PS do any of you think it’s crazy to imagine full glam minus colored lips? Am I crazy?

    Full-coverage foundation and false lashes.

I’m pretty darn lucky that I very rarely have any breakouts (Thank you, isotretinoin! 🤘), so I usually just roll with a light-coverage foundation if anything. False lashes is something I’ve never really experimented with, again because I kinda lucked out in the lash-department, with naturally curly and long lashes.

My everyday makeup routine usually consists of browpencil, brightening concealer, regular concealer, powder to set the under-eye concealer, light coverage foundation, mascara, highlighter and a lipoil/-balm of some kind. Sometimes I’ll tightline my upper waterline or experiment with eyeshadow and lipstick, but I usually just go for the “no makeup”-makeup look 😌
