Look on Amazon for double ended, pointed-tipped cotton swabs on wooden sticks. My husband bought a bunch to use for detail cleaning purposes and I discovered that they are excellent for cleaning up eye makeup mistakes. I’m 50/50 on success with a super sharp liner wing with a brush, but on those days when I can’t get it right, I use one of these dampened with a little micellar water and my wings are knife-sharp.

I clean up eyeliner with another eyeliner brush dipped in micellar water.
