Winged liner has been a staple for me since 12 years old, I’m 25 now and feel it just doesn’t look good anymore…

What’s something you outgrew that you miss?

I’ve had to change how I apply my winged liner to make it work for my aging eyes (wow, cringing at this sentence at 35…). Basically I have to go wayyyy softer to make it look good, use a black or brown eyeshadow instead of eyeliner and apply with an eyeliner brush, and I cannot line my lid and make it look good. I do a tiny wing on only the outer corner of my eye and apply it looking head-on with a neutral expression. It does still lift my eye even with uneven hooded eyes.
