That’s what happens when shoes just sit in boxes for years. If you ever buy old deadstock(hate that term btw) again you should try a couple things…. Put them on your feet in your house and just sit there. Or use a hair dryer inside the shoe and around the sole and everywhere that has glue and heat it to possibly reactivating the glue
