That’s what happens when shoes just sit in boxes for years. If you ever buy old deadstock(hate that term btw) again you should try a couple things…. Put them on your feet in your house and just sit there. Or use a hair dryer inside the shoe and around the sole and everywhere that has glue and heat it to possibly reactivating the glue

05 cherry 13 low just separated last week. I’ve had them for 10 years haven’t worn them in about 6 years. Wore it for a day one shoe separated the other perfectly intact

Very new to learning Jordans, what type of sole is this? Would like to learn types and life expectancy on different kinds and I’ve seen some say 15-17 on this type of sole. Thanks in advance!

Ugh, I’m so sorry bro. Had this happen to a pair of Pippens that I had stored (non-DS). Wore them for about 15 minutes and crumbled like a 15 year old pound cake.

The problem with most shoes with that material can do that. I’ve had j’s and air maxes fall apart. The j’s did a blowout while hooping. Air max, the bubbles went flat while riding my bike on the trail. Banked hard and then squish…

Ironic enough, I have one year old adidas running shoes that disintegrated in the rain.
