Seen these in store today, so glad I decided not to buy upon release. The suedes really messed these up!

I’ve been very tempted to cop these. Decided to see if my local sneaker store had them in my size and they did so I gave them a try. Not gonna lie they’re pretty nice, but including tax $300 Canadian….? Pass.

They are sitting because they sent a lot of these. I work at foot locker and usually my store gets about 60 pairs when j4s release and these ones we got like 200 stock. Same thing as other footlockers, they made a lot of these

I think it’s just an indication that the market has changed. People don’t feel the need to buy every single release and even resellers have calmed down. It’s a good thing. I’m glad these are readily available for anyone who really wants a pair. Buying sneakers were never meant to be like the hunger games. Times are hard for folks out here…200 dollars is 200 dollars and sometimes people have to prioritize.

I’m kinda done with sneakers for now lol. I’ll wait a few years until at least a couple of my kicks give out, then I’ll be on the lookout for a replacement.

If I didn’t have so many shoes already, I’d have probably copped these as my first Jordan 4s, if I really couldn’t wait for the reimagined black cements to drop

I think Nike also has a huge stock of these. Is almost Christmas they know ppl need to buy presents.

I don’t like the fuzzy edges around the front. Wish there was more of the smooth suede.

Probably the outrageous price for a 30 year old design. That’s why I didn’t go for them. Maybe $180, max

Golden age of reselling has ended, dumb shit doesn’t flip anymore. Even white gum SBs are basically retail on stockx. Economy also isn’t doing as well as it was, so less money for this stuff. After the lockdown people would rather travel than buy shoes/clothes. People in general don’t like craft line.

In my experience “why is everyone sleeping on these??” always comes from someone who either a) speculated hard on the shoe, bought a bunch of pairs and now can’t make any money reselling, or b) copped a personal pair but won’t wear a shoe if it’s not super hyped or sold out.

I like the shoe a lot, I just have to chill on buying sneakers at the moment. I’ll be very happy if I can cop a pair in a few months for retail or below.

Fear 3s, black AMM 5s, and Gratitude 11s are all a better use of $210-230 than these. That’s not even mentioning the April SBs or Powerpuff SBs that buyers might pay resale for or the fact that Christmas is around the corner. People don’t have unlimited money. They prioritize, and these are extremely low priority with the other drops this month/early next month
