Hey everyone! I have been just relying on skin care. And I really love my bare face. But I need to start using a bit of makeup… I have used mascara but when I wipe it off with a cleansing balm I got on my eye corner. After using mascara for 2 weeks or so I got pink eye and after that just used 2 or 3 times and stop using. Today I used mascara again and when I wipe it off one of my eyes got irritated… I don’t like using mascara because I don’t like to clean it (I don’t have the patience to be gentle) I always get on my eye corner and I am afraid to get pink eye again.

  1. Should I try a different brand of mascara?
  2. I was wondering if I can only use a concealer under my eyes and on my red spots? Or is it better to use a foundation? I need to use a blush to give me a bit of colour to not look too pale.
  3. Do I need to use a setting spray because of the blush and concealer or is okay to not use a setting spray?
  4. How to apply blush and not feel like a clown? I tried to do blush with my Versed tinted lip oil and I didn’t like it and felt like a clown. How can I apply blush to make it look natural?
  5. I don’t want to waste a lot of money, so can I just apply concealer and blush with my fingers?
  6. Which blush do you recommend to buy?

I’m pale and cool or neutral tone (I’m not sure which one) my skin type is dry (very dry!!) so I like a dewy look which with my skin care I achieve that look.

You can use a dry clean mascara brush to brush off splattered mascara without irritating the eye so much, or sometimes I dab on. A bit of coverup or foundation to blend it out.

Setting powder and/or spray will keep even your natural look from disappearing quickly, I think. I use both. I have oily to normal skin, tho, but it makes my makeup still going strong literally 14 hours later. I get ready for work at 5am and don’t get home until 8pm and on Sunday I did almost 7 miles/17000 steps and sweated through a premature newborn isolette and other patient cared and the only thing even half mucked up was my eye shadow.
