yesterday i was cleaning my pair with fz150, and scrubbed too much(?) and now all the letters are hidden under the suede.ive tried using a suede brush to revive the suede, a toothpick to move the hairs out the way but it feels like the hairs are kind of stuck to the shoe in a way and i can’t really move them to uncover the letters.

any help or ideas on how to fix this will be greatly appreciated 🙏🙏

the aftermath 😭😭

not my pic but i’m trying to get the letters back to something like this

Try to get some money back on ebay and buy a new pair if u want that look back, otherwise the shoe is doing its job.

use painters/ masking tape on it, apply and pull it off, it will get rid of the loose fibers.

the letters wont come back you scrubbed it off,

I believe (someone can correct me if i’m wrong) the letters are either some type of decals or stamped print. Whatever method or ink-type material they use to print the lettering is now completely gone. Looking at your pair where the “White” word is, you can see the print being scrubbed off, So I would guess the same cleaning methods were taken on the suede as well. There isn’t a way to get the print back without actually mimicking the manufacturing process.
Something for you to note for the future when cleaning suede is to use the least amount of liquid as possible. Here is a great video demonstrating some cleaning methods for different types of suedes. As much as I love FZ150, the chemical compound of the liquid is extremely aggressive, which is why they are great for cleaning super-dirty shoes. They can however be too aggressive for materials like nubuck and suede. Sorry to have to break the bad news, but consider this a learning experience.
