Ok team. I am pale, like actually so pale. The palest foundations are still too dark or too red for me. Do we have suggestions for good foundation brands that provide tones for pale people?

For reference when I went to Sephora the only shade that was close enough to make skin tone was the Sephora brands palest shade. I am Canadian too!

See if Estée Lauder Double Wear in shade Alabaster 0N1 is a good match. It’s a thick foundation that is also expensive, but in my experience, it is much easier to find a sample of it, test it in store, and since it’s so famous and available for ages, it’s a good starting point for comparisons.

The lightest shades in Fenty Beauty could also work.

KVD has been saving pale people for very long, but they reformulated some stuff after their scandalous founder left the company.

Armani has a shit ton of great foundations, that are also good for olive undertones (which you might be - look it up, head over to r/olivemua). They are expensive though.

Haus labs has a shade that is literally paper white, but if you’re in Europe, it might be harder to get it. I haven’t tried it, but I’ve heard it causes breakouts in some people.

And finally, Asian beauty is your friend. Missha is very well-known, i love their bb cream. I’d personally recommend a brand called Catkin. The hang-up is their lightest shades in foundation are always numbered 2 instead of 1, but they’re very light.
