I have a pretty wide face shape and smaller eyes so if im not actively trying i tend to look masculine/a little androgynous. Its honestly a big self esteem thing for me. Do any of you have tips to appear more feminine looking? I’ve done the underline the waterline for bigger eyes and framing haircut to make my face shape smaller but hasnt helped the most. Thanks

    Personally, I never subscribed to softening or sharpening your face with just makeup to seem more masculine or feminine. You need overall styling changes and not just one thing to change the overall perception.

    I’ve accepted that I naturally tend to have a more androgynous look myself and don’t really try to compensate for it much but I try to look more harmonious with it. So for you, I’d say lean into the smaller eyes, use dark eyeliner and contour but also play up other markers of femininity.

    Try using hair extensions, try a nice lip shade, and wear feminine clothing (more so the prints and fabrics rather than any singular category of clothing). Try out a natural makeup look but with overall styling changes including hair and fashion.
