I am so confused. This issue has started in the last … year? Or so? Every time I put on makeup, within an hour or so, I have a black mascara mark under my left eye, on the border of eye socket and my cheek.
Just on one eye though, never both. I’m not aggressively rubbing my face, and it’s not happening immediately after application so how is this going on? Why?
It doesn’t seem to matter what mascara I use, it happens. I also notice that my foundation or concealer under that eye always creases as well. I’m so tired of having to lick my finger to try and remove the mark when I’m out, and just generally, smudging my makeup. I’m tired of this happening. Any thoughts on what is causing if and how to prevent it?
It sounds like your eye is watering/tearing and you’re maybe not noticing it while it’s happening.
I did wonder that except it’s not anywhere near the tear duct, or the outer corner - It’s far too far down on the face, right in the middle of the eye. I’d have to be streaming with obvious tears for it to get to this spot, so I think I would have noticed, type thing.
