^^ pretty much in the title. I feel like a lot of shoes I find that I think look good (dunks, air maxes, jordans, air forces, etc.)are pretty bad running shoes (I’m not a serious runner, but I run 5Ks and 10Ks decently often and need to not kill my ankles). If anyone has any suggestions that would be amazing :)

This sounds like a recipe for either a sprained ankle or foot problems. Just get 2 pairs of shoes. Sometimes being cheap ends up costing you more later.

If I get two pairs, I still need the non-running shoes to be such that I can be decently active in them though ideally

How much height are you looking for a casual athletic shoe to give you? The Air Max Scorpion Flyknit will add a ton of height for an athletic shoe, but they look kind of ridiculous. Otherwise, Air Max 1 are super comfy and very fashionable. Air Force 1 are also known to add height but I’d go with one of the collab pairs because they are a lot better quality. I have the black Premium Goods pair and they are extremely comfortable and luxury materials. Otherwise they make womens athletic shoes in platform versions like the Jordan 1 elevate for example, I have a few pairs of those.
