I’ve noticed that when people talk about “best highlighter” they never specify what kind like I heard wet and wild ones are good but when I tried it it looked very sheer not sparkly just almost dirty idk. I used to love the cover fx but that’s so expensive what do y’all recommend

    I think that you want a highlighter that doesn’t have pigment. The “dirty” look you’re describing sounds like you don’t like pigment, which I relate too because I think pigmented highlighters look chalky. I think Mac extra dimension highlighters are great for a natural sheen - make sure to pick a shade close to your skin tone. If you want sheer glitter I would get the Fenty Beauty Diamond bomb - it’s a clear base with just glitter. If you wear it make sure to take pics with flash so you sparkle!!

      And some of the rare beauty liquid highlighters are very lightweight and natural looking as well! Again I would get a shade to complement your skin tone if you wanna make sure it doesn’t look chalky
