For those with wide feet, do you prefer sizing up or buying the wide option?

I wear 11 in all models I’ve tried except slip ons and authentics. I sized up to 11.5 in the slip ons and they feel great to me. They don’t feel too long and they don’t kill my pinky toes. I almost ordered wide but the color selection is way too limited and I’m not paying $80 for custom slip ons.
Funny how I’m also looking at size 11, so this is exactly what I needed. Thank you so much!
