Just a reminder to scrub those keycaps and clean out your boards.

I just cleaned up my daily driver tonight and I’m just happier with it-- it looks new again, and honestly the sound improved.

Wash your caps in warm soapy water, vacuum out the plate areaand case. Give your mounting plate some TLC. A q-tip and some isopropyl alcohol did the trick for me.

How often are y’all cleaning? Any cool lil cleaning kits y’all prefer?

    Maybe once a month I’ll go over it with a brush to remove dust. I’ve never had to wash my keycaps in soapy water though. So, I don’t really clean them… just doesn’t seem to be a need. I also use a dust cover when not in use, which keeps dust from building up. It’s more preventative than cleaning here.

      I didn’t think mine were that dirty either until I put it all back together and saw a stark difference.

      Dust cover when not in use is a great idea!
