Can you not just run the cable direct to the back of the PC instead of that hub, so it’s not all coiled up on the desk like that? Maybe just run it past the hub, let if fall behind the desk, then route it back up again? Seems a shame to buy a new cable when better cable management could probably solve the issue.

Stem length. If you use a switch with a stem that’s longer than your stab’s stems, then you can get a lot of unwanted stab rattles etc.
You should be proud. It looks great, and designing your own board from scratch is the pinnacle of this hobby if you ask me.
I would remove the batteries from all your other boards as well, especially if you are in the habit of having them connected for long periods of time. Just not worth the risk unless you actually, genuinely need a wireless board, which by the fact that yours was connected 24/7, you didn’t. Cheap, unbranded chinese batteries and circuits that adhere to no known safety standards… I reckon we’ll be seeing a lot more of this as well.
Even then I’d suggest it will be enough.
Unless someone like RTings has tested it, you’ll probably never know. Does it matter that much? Polling rate is not the same as latency if that’s what you’re worried about. Having a 1000hz polling rate doesn’t mean the latency will automatically be good.
The 1.25u mod novelty should be black on red, not red on black. The double shot molding looks as if it’s not entirely flush with the keycap surface. Although hard to tell with this lighting, the surface of the keycaps seem to look far too smooth as well.

There was a board like this last year called the Sperno69, which was basically this without a F row.
I wouldn’t be able to type on this, nor would anyone else that touchtypes using the home row, as you need a right shift. You use the opposite shift to the hand you are typing with, and you’ve spent years perfecting your muscle memory for this, so it’s will be a nightmare, and some letter would just drive you mad. You type Q with your left pinky, so typing capital Q would be almost impossible unless you basically retrained to type just for this keyboard.
Maybe once a month I’ll go over it with a brush to remove dust. I’ve never had to wash my keycaps in soapy water though. So, I don’t really clean them… just doesn’t seem to be a need. I also use a dust cover when not in use, which keeps dust from building up. It’s more preventative than cleaning here.
The footprint of all keys is the same. Some may have different sculpting on the top surface I suppose, but they are all 18mm x 18mm on all keyboards.
So long as people keep insisting that they want cheaper and cheaper things, then corners need to be cut to meet that demand, if it’s not in the quality of goods, then it through using as few staff as possible, paid as little as you can get away with.

You get what you pay for. You will never get a good $19 custom cable, and a company shameless enough to sell such awful looking cables clearly doesn’t give a shit about their reputation, as there’s always the next person to come along in search of a bargain.

People seem to want cheaper and cheaper things all the time, and I’m sorry, you get what you pay for. Sellers are just responding to what they are told people want, which is cheap shit, as quickly as possible. No one wants quality any longer… just cheap and fast.
I agree that shit stores, that sell shit, should be exposed and shamed, but seriously… it’s a $19 cable… what, seriously, do you expect? A good cable for $19? If anyone thinks they are getting a good cable for that price, they are deluded.
Because in principle, they are easy to make. No… it’s easy to make shit ones, so it seems like a good side hussle for many.
Dunno what people expect though. They look at decent cables, from reputable custom cable makers, decide they are too expensive, so go for something really cheap, and then wonder why their cable is crap. (shrug).
Kind of hard to have any sympathy sometimes.
