Yesterday, I spent the entire day trying to tune my stabilizer. On the verge of giving up, I tried swapping out the switch currently under the space bar to something else and God himself had granted me a miracle. It made my stabilizers immaculate. I replaced my Durock POMs for Cherry MX blacks.

I’m not particularly sure as to what caused such drastic changes, maybe due to the variable stem heights of the switches.

The reason I’m making a post about it is because I wonder whether it’s just me or has anybody else experienced this before. I don’t quite often or at all see people recommending changing switches as a solution to stabilizer rattle on this subreddit. Has anybody fixed their stabilizers simply by swapping out to another switch?

Stem length. If you use a switch with a stem that’s longer than your stab’s stems, then you can get a lot of unwanted stab rattles etc.
