The Tag was a college graduation gift back in 2017, the rest have been amassed over the last 18 months or so.

From left to right:

G-SHOCK Ref. 6900-PT1 (John Mayer x Hodinkee),

Seiko Prospex SSC813,

Rolex Explorer II 16570,

Tissot PRX,

TAG Heuer Aquaracer,

Tissot Carson Premium Chronograph.

For the next one I am between a Grand Seiko spring drive with one of the pretty dials, or a 41mm IWC chronograph.

Thoughts?

Very nice collection!!! I think a nice field watch, like the Bremont Broadsword or Vertex M100 would make a great addition. Can’t go wrong with a GS though.

The aquaracer would look sick with a brighter coloured silicone band, like an orange or a blue to match the bezel. Love the wear on it.

Needs more G Shocks though. Maybe an MB6 Solar that you can set all the mechanicals to

    Pure class.

Side note, why does everyone love the prx so much? I’ve seen some in person even, what am I missing?

A combination of integrated watch designs being very in right now and the PRX being an excellent value. It punches way above its price point, even at full MSRP, if you’re a fan of integrated designs.

From the variety of watches you have, you are good. However it is time to move on friend. I would ditch the G-Shock for something that is equally poppy (maybe just the dial) but also more finished. Not sure how to explain it. I would also replace the golden Tissot with any Grand Seiko.

The G shock is less than a year old and it’s the final of the three John Mayer x G Shock limited editions. It’s not leaving anyone’s collection unless you simply hate G Shocks for whatever reason

I don’t hate G-Shock. But unless this is worth hundreds of dollars, I would still ditch it since it doesn’t suite the otherwise nice collection. Not an G-Shock expert though. Just speaking from a visual perspective.

Awesome! That tag is something else I just sold that one to a good customer, better friend and truly a hero (Marine recon)

Obviously the g shock is on another level

Very nice collection - could be titled ‚a good mix’.

A good mix of more mainstream choices like the PRX and Seitona, but also some more individual choices like the Explorer II and the lovely Tissot.

A good mix of watches in different price ranges between 100 USD and above 10k.

And also a good mix of watches for different ocassions, from outdoor up to black tie.
