I’m 23 and I really wanna get into makeup more seriously but I’m so lost on what to buy. I obviously don’t want to buy everything, especially because I have a sensitive skin and I’m leaning towards better quality/more expensive brands. So far I’ve ordered: lipstick, lip liner, eyeshadow, eyebrow pencil, and foundation. I know I need an eyeliner and primer. What else? I see all these bronzers and luminizers and concealers… I don’t really need them all, do I? And do I need a different primer for eyes? I see those sold separately. If you also have any recommendations for application tools I’m super happy to hear about that too. Thanks a bunch!

I don’t think one needs a primer really - both face and eyes. As you become more familiar with how you like your makeup, you’ll understand if you actually need it. I think a sponge/beauty blender would be useful for foundation application.

You can use your fingers for eyeshadows if you go for easy looks. But overall 1 blending brush and 1 smaller (but still a bit fluffy) brush for more precise application would be the most useful.

If possible, you can try using your lipstick as a blush to see if you like it.

Less is more. And add products gradually one by one when you feel like you need it.
