My bf doesnt like the feeling of lip products so when i kiss him hes like “ooh soooo balmy” lol. I usually wear lip balm, liner, tints, and lip sicks. I think the tints are thin enough so he cant feel them but i want a more natual color. I have peripera only in red colors. I have nars pencils that are light enough but not hydrating.
What are your fav lip products that feel like youre wearing nothing?

Lisa Eldridge’s new liquid lipsticks dry down to a thin matte finish but don’t feel dry/sticky like a lot of other brands. I’ve found it can survive a lot of kissing :)
Lime Crime’s Plushies lipsticks or Kaleidos’ lip clays (especially if you apply a light layer and blot it for a soft and blended effect)
I second the lip clays! The only thing i can wear on my lips that i genuinely forget I’m wearing it
Highly recommend the nars soft matte tinted lip balms. They are not drying at all and are somehow hydrating even though they are matte. Feels like nothing on the lips and is my preferred bullet lipstick formula.

benetint in any color or rare beauty lip oils- they dry down but the rare beauty lip oil dries down woth a more hydrating finish

I tried Etude house. For me it unevenly dyes the lips but a lot of people liked it. I have wonderskin on my wishlist but haven’t tried it yet. They solve the problem you stated as they feel like nothing. Just watery dye that’s wiped off, but then again it’s mostly vibrant colors, perhaps the formulation of the product makes it difficult to make muted colors, I find myself dabbing brown matte nude on top to mute it. But still it’s less product overall than heavy balmy lipsticks
you should definitely try water tints. my favorite are the ones from clairins because of how pigmented they are but I know some Korean brands have cheaper ones. you can also try benetint or the Ulta brand dupe of the benetint.
I have tried benetint, but the color range is too light for my lips (mine are pigmented so rosy/mauve shades or darker).
3CE Water Blur Tint
I am really liking the Revlon Matte Suede Ink lispticks. They feel totally dry but don’t dry out my lips, and they stay on really well.
Limecrime plushies has 2 of my fave nudes (choco milk and milk tea) and they are a blotted lip look matte finish,so they dry down 100%,no tackiness. You apply them thinly on purpose. They can look more bold if you desire also. They are my fave when i am feeling extra sensitive and other lip products would bother me. Limecrime plushies are sold irl at sally beauty if you have that store available
