Hi everyone! I am in need of a new palette, and my husband is asking what I want for Christmas. I haven’t had one in years, and the last one I got and loved what the James Charles Morphe X in 2019. So needless to say, I am LOST! 🙈

I can’t find this palette anywhere, and I’m bummed as it’s the price range I’m comfortable with and the colors were absolutely perfect!

Any recommendations? Any advice is appreciated!

For reference, 90% of my products come from good ole’ CVS these days, and even that’s getting pricey! Life got in the way of upkeep since 2019, so I don’t want to commit to/fall in love with a palette that equals the rest of my budget in cost! 😅

Thanks in advance!

So, you’re looking for a rainbow palette? JC was discontinued because he was being a terrible person, I don’t remember what exactly he did but it’s definitely permanently discontinued.

Rainbow palettes I can recommend are the following

    • Blend Bunny: this is an indie brand that made several different ones, their formula is great for mattes, way better than Morphe - their shimmers are ok. I’m not sure if JC had shimmers or if they were good tho, they definitely are better than Morphe. Idk what you paid for yours but they’re not super expensive.

    • Budget: Beautybay has a house brand that makes a palette called Brights 2.0 and they go on sale for as little as a tenner. Decent formula, and very cheap for what you get. Comes in different sizes - wait until they are on sale (which is constantly) and grab it then

    • The exact same palette again even though it may be old? Try submitting a request to r/Makeupexchange, maybe someone has one they’d sell to you. Eyeshadow palettes can be sanitized and are perfectly safe to share.

I don’t remember what exactly he did

Predatory behaviour to minor fans that he fully admitted to.
