I am looking to buy gift for my gf for Christmas, I literally have no idea what to look for. I am overwhelmed with how many different types of products of Sephora.
My gf is pretty busy with work this month, and she keeps biting her lips at work. Ger lips start bleeding. I already bought her some vaseline lips balms but I want to get her something from Sephora also for Christmas.
FYI ,She is Vietnamese, south east asian skin tone.
Thank you very much for helping me.
TLDR; Looking for a gift set (lips or skin care) for my gf on Sephora.

Great that you’re thinking about such a thoughtful gift for your girlfriend. As a beauty rookie, navigating Sephora can be a bit like entering a whole new world.
Considering she’s dealing with lip-biting and all, let’s focus on some lip care goodies. Since she’s got that beautiful Southeast Asian skin tone, you might want to check out Fenty Beauty’s Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer. It’s got this amazing shade called “Fenty Glow” that suits pretty much everyone.
Pair it up with Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask – it’s like a spa treatment for the lips, perfect for those stressful work days. If you want to go the extra mile, throw in a cute lip scrub to keep those lips super smooth.
Now, onto skincare. The Sephora Favorites sets are gold – they’re like a buffet of different brands. Look for something with hydrating masks and creams. Drunk Elephant and Tatcha are some solid choices.
If she’s into makeup, a good eyeshadow palette is always a win. The Huda Beauty Nude Obsessions palette has a great range, and the colors usually pop beautifully on Southeast Asian skin tones.

Lip products: Laneige, Summer Fridays, Rhode lip treatment. All of these have various shades and colour so you can mix and match or get an individual set. Or set of 2-3 each. Whatever works.

I really like the Bum Bum Cream and Scent. All the fragrances are pretty.

The only thing that has cured my incredibly cracked lips is Image ormedic lip treatment. You can get it online

i know you’re looking for makeup products, but as someone who tried tons of things for remedy, the only thing that helped consistently is stopping biting altogether. i tried those rubber pendant necklaces that you can chew instead of biting your lips. it’s still an unhealthy habit, but at least it didn’t affect my lips anymore

get the Laneige Heavenly Hydration set! it has a lip mask + some skincare that is really nice! I like all the products in there. If she wants a lip mask, maybe the laneige minis set or Fenty Plush Puddinz Intensive Recovery mask duo.

I like Clinique’s Moisture Surge Lip Plumper. I don’t find it plumps my lips, but as an overnight moisturizer, my winter lips don’t dry out as much in daytime. For daytime, there are lots of winter balms to choose from.

Why is she biting her lips should be a place to begin. Often, us women, do it because of anxiety… A good lipbalm won’t treat the cause of it.

Aquaphore is great though and cheap. Using lip gloss and lipstick over chapped lips is not recommended.

A decent lip balm is the best I think and I would buy her products that are highly recommended rather than what’s popular. Would recommend budgeting since a haul can become very expensive.

Do you happen to know her skintype?

From a serial lip biter - the only thing that stops me is wearing actual lipstick, bc then I don’t want to mess it up. Take her to a store and tell her to pick out a really beautiful lipstick within your budget. Bullet mattes and liquids are the best for this imo.
